The Duke fans I know found him to be the least impressive part of the team (Rush defense, pass defense, Rush offense, pass offense). There were posts about how Grayson Loftis should be given a chance instead of just Murphy at all times as well (Loftis was okay as a freshman in 2023 after Riley Leonard went down).

The Duke fans you know are just as ignorant as LSU fans. He definitely had some bad turnover games, but he came at Duke as a first time player. Even with that he had a preety damn good season. For LSU fans to talk shite about our rush offense, Duke's was even worse. Their top 3 rushers averaged 4.09, 4.04, and 3.3 ypc. The definition of 3 yards and a cloud of dust. Duke's rush offense was 126 out of 136. Their only real offense was Murphy.

Duke's rush defense was worst than LSU's, and they played against vastly wlrst rush offenses. They only played against 2 pass offenses in the top 50. One was Miami who ate the frick out of them, and the other was SMU. That 35th ranked pass defense is completely deceiving.

Again, Duke fans are stupid. Malik Murphy was the best thing that team had.

I'd welcome him at LSU if Nuss left. He has a big arm. Would rather a dual threat though.
