Yes, and possibly an NCAA violation.

Coaches are paid to recruit players.

I'm not sure what that has to do with anything. But grown men seeking out high school boys is creepy, and possibly a violation of NCAA rules.

It's best to just not do it at all.

Do you think before you post? You have no logical thinking skills apparently from that post.

The coaches actually know and possibly have met the kids. The coaches will be coaching and interacting with the kids. The coaches are paid to recruit kids. An adult should have something better to do with their free time than send messages to high school kids.

And your on a message board posting back and forth with people ages you don't even know!

......Oh,,, GREAT POINT. Wtf?

Its a good question to ask many will disagree... I have never posted anything to a recruit or a player but I don't see anything wrong with it especially when I see that these guys see that as a good thing.

In some cases you can tell what team a recruit favors by what fan base he entertains most or retweets. Iam just saying I dont see it as the terrible boogey man some are portraying it as.

Do you?
And your suppose to be soo logical with that dumb arse response.
Of course its the coaches job to intereact with the kids but to assume just because someone tweets a highschool kid and says Geaux Tigers he's suppose to be a child molestor of sorts that thinking is ASININE!

No one is seekng out little boys as some of you gay azz posters keep putting it. I think the guy was asking in reference to how the recruit viewed it,,,,,not some of you idiots!

I respect your opinion..but I must say, yall are looking to deep into this...I was just asking yall a simple question...I never once said I stalk anyone or "seek out high school boys"..I send a tweet out every now and then to get the players excited about coming to LSU..thats all..there are plenty of people that do it. If it helps by the recruit seeing that fans of a certain school are excited about the possibility of him coming to the school, then I look at it as an advantage.

I swear these message boards make people say what they want without consequences..people get the courage via the internet..and that's not directed only to you ProjectP

No one knows for sur whether it helps recruiting or not, they can only assume yes or no. My guess would be that it depends on the recruit. Some recruits may see it as they are being "sweated" or pressured. And some may like the attention or feel wanted. My best guess would be it probably doesn't help much but again just like everyone else that is an assumption. One thing I do think is it as not really that big of a deal. Even though it is not something I would do personally I don't think it makes a person a sick wierdo or even pathetic. It's not that big a deal.

There's nothing wrong with it the people on here who keep knocking you are idiots. Their trying to compensate for their small "man issues". Personally i think its good for recruiting if its done respectfully.

What's more pathetic?

Tweeting or Facebooking 17 year old football players?

or

Putting a picture of your favorite looking woman, then photoshopping an LSU tattoo on her tit, stomach or small of the back?

Either way, the Rant is chock full of these idiots.

I think it is frowned upon by the NCAA, but they don't want to "police the internet" at this point. I bet they will in the future. A lot of this is going on these days.
