I know Deas. He was pretty gifted, but couldn't ever bring it all together.

He went to Division II Shaw and had a 7th round grade by some scouts but I don't think he ever made a squad in the NFL.

Yeah, that's where the trail seems to end...you look at a physical specimen like that not make and you realize how hard it really is to make the NFL...and how amazing to have so many LSU players in the league.

"Deas was a 4 star recruit coming out of HS in Florida, he initially committed to LSU but due to eligibility issues never enrolled there…Deas eventually ended up at Division II Shaw which has become a well known haven for top tier DL prospects who decide to move down a level"
