Of course it's not but it will be pretty godamn disappointing. When you are a supposed yearly contender for titles you can't miss out on your State's best potential haul in years, especially to out of state Rivals.

I see your point, but if LSU is ever to be considered a true big boy in the college football business, recruits (and fans) need to understand that we will move on and get someone else next year.

I'm sure Trovon Reed is enjoying his NC run at Auburn, but HE could have been Jarvis Landry or Odell Beckham and had 1000yds receiving. One example of a recruiting "disappointment" a few years ago, that ended up working out pretty good for LSU.

Like I said, a top 5 finish every year is more indicative of winning a NC. Ole Piss isn't going to win a NC with one year of gonzo recruiting....

I am one of the more sunshine pumpingest guys on here, but if we failed to pull in LF, I would flip my shite. I would get over it eventually but I think all of us would be justified in expressing great disappointment at that time. There is nothing that can be said beforehand to prevent that, nor should there be.
