The damage is hopefully limited to this year and hopefully we lose no more recruits. We can redeem recruits next year if we play balanced offense. If we play offense next year the way we did the latter part of this year we may not get any top receivers to commit to LSU.

I would think the fans reaction to Landon Collins and Jordan Jefferson played a much bigger role. LSU fans were disgusting on twitter and facebook. To 17 year olds perception is reality.

This 100%

Players know what happens in games. Somedays your team just doesn't have it and they can understand it and move on. I think anyone that has played organized sports can understand it.

What 18 year olds also understand is social networking and recruiting boards and other things that head coaches are probably too busy to pay attention to. When people get on here and continuously post about JJ, the NCG, LC, etc. and smash the program, the direction the program is heading in, the class of players who are coming in, and the leadership of the program it sends a massive "GTFO" sign to top recruits. Congrats all you negaTigers for being the probable reason we aren't getting all the recruits we hope we could. If I was a highschool player and I saw the reaction to LC not picking LSU, the reaction to JJ after he had a bad game, I would be crossing LSU off my list immediately.

We are all passionate about our team here, but it doesn't help anyone to keep posting negative junk about the LSU program. 24-3 over the past 2 years, upgrading all our weaknesses, and going to be preseason top 5. Life is good. Pay attention in case there is a time when it isn't.
