Michigan is in a very marginal situation with a sub-par coach that I've heard was fighting for his job. They pretty much ran Jim away, now they have what they have, not much. Sure hope (not) BU can bail them out lol.

The NCAA ran Harbaugh off with a witch hunt that started long before the spying. Michigan may now be the biggest NIL player in the game. Doesn't seem desperate. They seem inspired. Make no mistake if it were LSU we wouldn't be crying out in desperation. We are only upset because it's not us.

Anytime you spend 12 million dollars on a high school football player, you’re desperate.
We don’t know how Underwood will influence their program, but we’ll find out. I personally hope it falls apart for everyone involved.
If they’re smart they make coaching changes and build an offense tailored to Bryce.

Same as when Texas A&M was desperate for Jimbo and spent tons on NIL recruiting. Then Ole Miss spends a ridiculous amount on 1-year transfers because they were desperate

fanva, I usually agree w/your takes, but not totally this time.

TRUE - The NCAA ran Harbaugh off with a witch hunt that started long before the spying.

NOT SURE BUT LEANING TO QUITE POSSIBLE - Michigan may now be the biggest NIL player in the game. Doesn't seem desperate. They seem inspired.

TRUE BUT W/RESERVATIONS - Make no mistake if it were LSU we wouldn't be crying out in desperation. We are only upset because it's not us. But at the cost of 10+m, it just seems ridiculous as the NIL dollars could be spread around to ensure other positions can support the QB properly.

FINAL TAKE - There is never an unlimited supply of money (except possibly in the fed gov't), and if so, it usually ends up in waste (except usually in the fed gov't).

And ole miss is all but out of it now. Just cause you spend a lot of money doesn’t mean it will translate.

Kinda seeing that with ole piss and gay&m that $ can’t bring you championships.

Clemson is kinda having success without throwing a boat load of money at players.

Yep, all in moderation makes smart outcomes.

OM, aTm, etc all wasted a bunch when they shot their load. Hate to see it.

What you have not heard is how Mich had fallen so far after a national championship. 5-5 is not good vs teams in the SEC (AL and GA) who just grind out season after season.

They won’t. Their head coach isn’t capable of that and they have the same setup we do- a promoted QB Coach as OC. They will keep on running the same Stone Age offense.
