Guys,

We will look back at Hodge in a couple years and say "wtf...why is he not on our team." He is one of the better defensive line talents in the state this year and is a huge pickup for Arkansas. I am very high on him. He shows a lot of athleticism and is a tweener with good size that can be developed into an ideal 1-gap DT.

Unfortunately, LSU just doesn't have a spot for him. MJ and AJ are better prospects, but they are two of the best in the entire country--with AJ being one of the best prospects to ever come out of the state.

I like Hodge more than Hunter. Higher ceiling and I really like his play.

So, I heard from someone in Louisiana, that Hodge is better than 4* DT Chuck Hunter, is this true? Thanks in advance.

I think Hodge is quicker and more athletic, but thats my opinion. Either one would be a good pick up for Arkansas. Your coaches should pursue him, also.

Im not going to deny Freak is a rare player, but I think Hodge is close to Mickey. Mickey has managed his lifting better, but Hodge will be close to being as strong as him in the future and I'll bet Hodge has a quicker first step.

If any of the Arkansas peeps want to watch both Hodge and Hunter, their teams play each other in Monroe on 9/10.

Hodge maxes out at 315 on bench...that is barely his own weight. Mickey is a lifting machine. I think Mickey is a much stronger player. Quickness is open to debate; I have seen Hodge play in person and he is indeed very quick off the line. I think Mickey is on a level above Hodge.

I would say Hodge is comparable to Hunter. I think Hunter is better right now but Hodge may have a better ceiling. Hodge is very raw right now but has all the intangibles of being a great player at the next level. I think Hodge is quicker than Hunter.

Just too many quality DL in the state this year. I will be very happy with AJ, MJ, and QT. Wish we had room for Hunter as well as Hodge.

Went to several Neville games last year and agree with this statement 100%.

Be wary of early out of state commitments!
