I don't think it's sometimes. I think it's 50-75%. There is a huge difference between dominating on the HS level and then going on to even contribute at an SEC school.
Not having your head screwed on right makes it infinitely more difficult.

He decommitted during the coaching change and followed Mickey Joseph to Nebraska. Then he tore his ACL.
The injury plus him never really being that great of a recruit probably has a lot to do with him not panning out.
