So that was Gueydan's 1st playoff win? I thought it had been done early this decade......

Either way good season by both ball clubs in little 1A.......

Vallo, what do you think about Freshman Devante Bourque (6'-3" 200lb) from Gueydan? He made first team All-State this pass season as a return specialist. He had and impressive three
kickoff returns for touchdowns and three punt returns for scores.

quote:Dude since last year I've made at least 40 trips to Big Lake and the surrounding area.
Also, if you ever want to talk about big lake fishing, I'm game as well.
If it swims I caught it.

I found a new bait that I absolutely murdered them on last Thursday.
As far as hunting goes I just about gave it up the last 2 years to fish.
We will be heading to Sam Rayburn on the 20th if weather permits. Toledo is next over the next few months then we'll start fishing trout again south Big Lake, West Cove and the Jetties. May and June is the best because of the spawn. Big fish near the beach...

I used to fish there a few times a month. The hurricane derailed that though. My parent's have a camp in Hackberry. The old reliable that I always start the day with (if the water isn't too dirty) is the purple deadly dudley with a chartreuse tail. If the water is dirty, white deadly dudley with a chartreuse tail.
Black Lizards with ice blue tails have always been my go to bait in the channel. Maybe if you give me some more hints, I'll tell you where some of my (fishing) holes are.

He actually has the talent to play at the next level, but the way grades are going now in the 8th grade, I don't think he'll make it. Hopefully he can at least play next year.

No sir that did not happen. Coach Pervote(hope i spelled that right)came right before the Duck Festeval an he asked the AD his "honest to god thought of Gums" The coach told him not to give up on him that the staff will work with him. That is why i said he might end up at Noethwestern St.

he is very good he can very well play at the next level an he is just 15 or 16. I just hope he stays in G-Town. The only bad thing is he can play only 3 more yrs all likely he will have to go to a Hargrove Academy type school to finish his post college days. Never meet him but the coachin staff speaks very highly at thim.

Darrin got invited and went to junior day at LSU, said he had a great time, but he was the smallest guy there.

how come you keep asking for a hunting/fishing board when we already have the hunting/fishing/recruiting board?
