Picks up a Florida State offer...
For a state that is suppose to be down this year, alot of kids getting some nice offers...
Not saying the kid is LSU material, never really heard of him-just passing it along...

Why do you assume LSU doesn't already know? you know nothing about the kid, assume LSU hasn't evaluated him and is missing out b/c two mediocre teams offer, all just b/c he's a LA kid. You're a paranoid moron.

We're in the same district as Jacobs and he's good, but he's borderline LSU quality. He's really stood out last year and in the spring for HLB, well because HLB is horrible and doesn't have very much on defense so he HAS to make the tackles and do everything.

Damion Jacobs vs CL video
I put together a video of him real quick for those who's interested in seeing him. The clips are from the HLB vs Central Lafourche game his junior and sophomore year. I had a couple other game films of him but they're on VHS and I didn't have the wires with me at the moment to rip them.
Like I said he's good, athletically I don't doubt he could play on the SEC level, he plays basketball and he moves very well for a 300 pounder, his problem is he doesn't have a nose for the ball. 7 out of 10 plays he's tackling or chasing the guy without the ball.

God, I wish we could pull in the talent like Arky and Ole Miss do. They are just such powerhouses year in and year out. They can go into any state and take whatever player they want.

Not saying this is the case here... but I remember when Ahmad Paige had an offer from FSU and then signed with TENN, and people like yourself got all in an uproar about what a mistake the coaches were making... we'll shocker they were right and actually no ehat they were doing
