Wow! Dalton Botts, LSU QB of the future! He looks better than some QB's (unnamed)I know.
When he lines up to punt, the defense will have to think twice! And to think, Chris Sailer says he is the #1 punter in the nation.

Did I see it correct that he punted from close to the Goal Line down to the 20 yard line.

At what mark in the video? I couldn't make it all the way through it.

He's excellent at avoiding would-be tacklers. He doesn't appear to be very fast but he actually covers a lot of ground with those long strides so it's kind of deceiving. Also, throws some nice lobs.

@ 10:56 the line of scrimmage is the 35 and he kicks it from his own 25 to the 5 yard line...

I must say, I really like Mr. Botts.

Yeah that was posted in his committed post

He averages like 34 yards per kick??? I did not see punts that were near that. All the punts were very long.

The video is from 2007 in high school. He has matured physically quite a bit from that video. I was told by a well respected Junior College coach who has had numerous players play D1 and in the NFL that he is an extremely athletic and talented young man.
