The article I just read says hes a pretty good basketball player. If so wow!

He'll be like 6'5" 270 at LSU.
Unless you're Zion Williamson level of explosive, that size isn't the best for basketball.

Definitely don't need another Brian Bridgewater on the bball court. I'm excited for what he can bring to LSU Football though.

Naw but I heard we have a sweet snare drummer that will be on the tram next year.

It's really hard to play both sports that overlap season wise.
Football players wouldn't be able to begin practicing and playing until SEC play. There's no minutes to give during sec play for those guys to catch up.
Plus, if Wade is doing his job recruiting, he's not relying on football players on a 12 man roster.

MOST 5* recruits likely play multiple sports in HS. They are simply athletic studs. However, dual-sports careers are much tougher to navigate as you move up levels (NCAA, professional).
A player on Deion Sanders / Bo Jackson level is the ultimate level. And how many of those can you name aside from those 2?

I think Jordan Toles the safety is planning on playing both. And the Qb and Rb we just played for ole miss are playing football and baseball

Exactly. A full generation before the 2 that I named.

Being a good basketball player is different than playing college basketball in SEC

Everything I've read says Burch could play at the d1 level. Still doesn't mean he comes here and plays because the scheduling would be a nightmare.
