I always like doing things that way. I see no reason to negative recruit. It's much better to sell the positive aspects of your school compared to others

I think Zach Lee's uncle said it best, when he said their family was impressed with Miles's integrity. That is something alot of coaches and individuals lack these days. Integrity alone speaks volumes for Miles and Chavis.

I'm not a huge recruit-nik, but I lurk around here just to keep up with it. But I entirely agree with this statement. Negative recruiting is always a bad idea. Better to sell your school, but there's no need to badmouth another place.
Agreed!

These type of comments about Miles which have been made for years are the biggest reason I think Reed's decision to leave state has more to do with getting away than the family vibe at Auburn.Miles is and has be known as an honerable man for a long time.Phelon Jones is a great example in 2 different situations. His recruitment and his decision to leave. If Miles wasn't an honorable man Phelon's dad never would have sent him towards LSU after decommiting from Florida and he wouldn't be at Bama if Miles weren't honorable. Most coaches would have put in restrictions on where he could go regarding the conference teams.Miles has his faults but being honorable and honest is not one of them.

We need copeland bad. I would hate to lose him as much as almost any kid we have committed. But honestly I feel like we still have a great shot. He was in contact with ut during his vist and I get the feeling he will stick. I could be wrong but hubbs on volquest seems to feel the same and he is very conservative with his opinons. So I think in the end he will be a vol...... We shall see soon....

Yep...go to Scouts.com and you'll see it right at the top of the committment tracker. He is shown as a "new" Tennessee commit, so I guess that means that he has confirmed his committment to them. Bummer....

No Freak doesn't count because he is from Louisiana...

The stole Jackson by lying to us, we had his commitment for 10 months...I hated O and Kiffin for that play...

And Hunter is a distance issue, but that stings too...

with the coaching carousel at UT, I figured we could have pulled this kid...I mean we need DL, and DE badly! This kid would be awesome in Chavis system

Dooley has done an outstanding job in damage control with UT's recruiting class in his short time in Knoxville.

That should buy him an allotment of goodwill to carry him through the pain that will be their upcoming season.
