With Alabama currently having the best ranked class, I made the list below to see how LSU's class would compare to Alabama's class if LSU is able to get its top targeted uncommitted recruits.

Assuming LSU can land Jackson and Williams and Alabama can land Humphrey and Carter, just look and remember why this class is so special.

If LSU can't get Jackson, I think LSU would get some big lineman recruit.

With only 15 verbal pledges compared to 23, it's hard to do any comparisons.

I agree - neither are locks - although I like our chances with Williams - AND - I think we've made up a lot of ground with Jackson - the USC and Florida coaching situations are working in our favor right now, and he could end up with us being the only constant.

I wouldn't even put it higher than 1/3 right now, but I'll take those chances for a OOS player of his caliber.

Look at the comparison to the 2009 class. A class that I remember calling one of LSU's greatest. That class went on to play for a BCSNC game. Bold for the players that made it or will make it to the NFL. I am ready for this 2014 class to do the same
