Well, if he wants a chance to win a Heisman, he should pick a program that is likely to play in BCS bowls for the next 3-4 years. Oregon and Tenn aren't exactly the programs that come to mind in that category. Miami is on the move, but I wouldn't really count on them either yet. That leaves USC and possibly LSU (if he truly is interested). He's not going to be the starter in year one at either of those programs, but he'll probably see some playing time and have a chance to shine in year two.

Can someone please sticky a topic at the top where someone can detail all of this kid's "character issues"? If you have no clue what your talking about, then shut the hell up. It's a joke how everyone on here is like best friends with Bryce and know everything about him. So I would love to see all these issues that this kid has

This makes way too much sense which is why his "Handler" will make sure it won't happen.

Unfortunately, you are probably correct.

Book it he will sign with either Oregon

I don't believe he'll sign with Oregon based on a couple of reasons. 1)He didn't like the fact that his high school coach implemented the spread offense. 2)Oregon runs the spread offense. Just trying to use some logic in this situation. Don't know how welcome it is on this board! Not welcome on many other boards.

I love how everyone says "we don't want him"....Even though Miles and staff clearly DO want him. You don't make a push for someone you don't want.

Everyone forgets that Miles didn't want to recruit RP and Bertman made him because there was no way LSU could choose to not recruit the top player from Louisiana. Im pretty sure Saban started recruiting RP before he left.

Wants a chance to win the heisman

I never understood the big deal with the Heisman. The goal should be to win Championships and position yourself to play in the NFL.

The last 20 Heisman winners: Andre Ware (Bust), Ty Detmer (Bust), Desmond Howard (Solid), Gino Toretta (Bust), Charlie Ward (BUST), Rashaam Salaam (Bust), Eddie George (Star), Danny Wuerffel (Bust), Charles Woodson (Star), Ricky Williams (Bust), Ron Dayne (Bust), Chris Weinke (Bust), Eric Crouch (Bust), Carson Palmer (solid), Jason White (Bust), Matt Leinart (looks to be a bust), Reggie Bush (Solid), Troy Smith (probable bust), Tim Tebow and Sam Bradford have yet to be drafted.

So out of 18 players you have 2 superstars, 3 solid players and 13 busts. Be a team player Bryce. The goal is to win Championships!

Charlie Ward (BUST),

Is it considered a bust when he didn't actually play? He was a servicable PG for the Knicks.

Charlie Ward was going to be a 5th round pick at best. Ricky Williams wasted his career and wreaked more havoc than he helped. Reggie Bush, while not living up to most peoples expectations, has been a solid contributer thus far in his career. My point is to show that winning the Heisman does not equal future sucess. In most cases the winners flop. This guys comments reminds me so much of Ryan P. It's all about me. "I'm the next 60 million dollar man."

Everyone forgets this because this never happened.
