Ro, you decided to bring our conversation from Saturday night over here onto the board, nice...but you stole Ted Ginn Jr. right out from under my nose. I love the DEs like Griffen, Dunlap, and Kennard. Sergio Kindle was a freak back in 2006, but he hasn't done jack on the field for UT yet. Eric Berry was unreal on film too. Offensively I like Barkley, Marlon Lucky, and Fred Rouse.

Oh Devine, McKnight, Williams, and Harvin are for sure bigtime highlight reel gangstas, but those other players I named just have some flair that I particularly like.

Ah, I just remembered a guy that is often overlooked...Dez Bryant

If it weren't for his grade situation he should have been a 5 star.

He is one of the best WR prospects to 'fly under the radar' that I can remember. He may not count as 'the best recruit ever,' but he is one of the best athletes I've seen.

Do yourself a favor and watching his highlight video!

Specifically the 2:40 mark.

Dez Bryant did have some sick film. I was pissed we cooled on him, but just a year before decided to take a chance on RJF. It made no sense.

I could actually already go ahead and put Jackson Jeffcoat, DE from Plano West in 2010 on this list. Maybe the most freakish defensive film I have ever seen.

Thanks Ro.

Dez has some of the best hops of any college WR. Talk about a redzone threat in highschool. They literally lobbed it up to him 20 times in that video and let him jump over the CB for the TD.

He is one of my favorite recruits ever, even if some don't consider him to be the 'best'

Yetty, I actually watched his video today in class (boring class; recruit films are better).

That guy is SICK for a SOPHOMORE! Most top DE's don't have film like that as a Senior. I can't imagine how good he will be in two years.

it seems like this thread is about who has the best highlight video. if thats the case devine is far and away the best choice.

well the videos were just to refresh your mind

it should be about best recruit, not just how nasty they are on film

Ro, if we are talking best recruit does that mean we have to take into account grades?

It's hard to rate these guys without thinking about the way they have performed in college.

Lache Seastrunk can be added to that list as well.

I don't think he is the best ever, but I would bet someone does.

I'm still sticking with Noel Devine for sickest video.

I am going with Patrick Johnson for the best OVERALL recruit.

For him to be called "Deon Sanders but physical" or "the best CB prospect in 10 years" or "The next Champ Bailey" then that puts him at #1 for me.
