I seen Felix play a couple of times. Although the kid is a great high school player, I doubt that Kentucky is recruiting him. For one, he is a good not great point guard. Nonetheless, is a very solid point guard who can penetrate into the lanes and get everyone else involved in the game. Incidentally, Felix’s father was also a point guard at St Augustine and Southern University. I guess it was destined for this kid to be where he is. As stated above, he is a good point guard but the same caliber of a DJ Augustine who was a more complete guard in scoring, defense and overall play. Hence, he is more of a caliber athlete that Tulane or ULL would have on their teams.
Victor on the other hand is a real monster in the paint. At this point of his game, his defense is much more developed than his offensive. In my opinion, he will be a far more complete player than Greg Monroe. His game is very similar to Patrick Ewing in that he plays tremendous defense and can take it to the rack and slam the ball in your face.

Gumbyxl I hear what you're saying however your view isn't shared by a number of folks who has watched this kid play over the years. Last year I would have probably agreed with you however he has become more involved from the defensive stand point and he can take over a game if he chooses too. The problem with trying to pigeon hole him based on game stats is that he plays on a team that is 10 or 11 kids deep so he's asked to get everybody involved. He's also sharing the back court with another D1 guard and 2 other capable guards are on the second team so his minutes played are greatly cut into. He does what he does playing perhaps a little more than half of the game.

Knight I respect your response however, I have seen this kid play a number of times and I stand by my statement. This kid is more of a mid major recruit and not a SEC cabiler recruit. As stated eariler, he is a good high school guard but nothing particular special.

Felix was Tourney MVP and turned his game up at the perfect moment to bring home the trophy... He'll be SEC caliber when it's all said and done...
