I'm not ready to add this player to the list, but I have heard LSU is interested. He is an Australian that has bounced around to several different U.S. high schools, including Findley Prep.
Dekeeba Battee-Aston
He is currently trying to attend high school in Calabasas, Ca., as the below article mentions. Apparently his father is a Dallas native and the kid spend either his freshman or sophomore season at a Dallas high school. By my count, Calabasas would be his 4th high school.

St. Mary's gets commitment from another Aussie
I have no info that LSU was even recruiting this guy, just pointing out that St. Mary's Australian recruiting ties are still going strong.

From a Scout premium article from today, but this is a free blurb:
quote:
*Jarrell Martin is an especially popular name on the recruiting trail this fall because of his outbreak and terrific play in the summer. While he has plenty of interest, don’t expect a college choice from Martin any time soon, as his high school coach has told multiple outlets that he plans to sign during the last period. He recently cut his list of schools to seven -- St. John’s, Oklahoma State, UCLA, Alabama, Louisville, LSU and Texas A&M. At this stage, Martin doesn’t have any visits set up. Although it’s pure speculation, LSU has received a lot of buzz in this recruitment and could be the team to beat here.

2013 PG Kendall Smith is returning to lsu in Oct. For an official visit
Posted on 8/24/12 at 10:28 am to cowboy4ever
Looks like LSU may be honing in on Smith as their PG for this class. David Patrick knew him from his time on the West Coast. He is the point man on his recruitiment.

Yeah I really like Smith I would lime to see him in p&g

LSU hasn't offered yet. He has several mid-major offers, but lots of majors are showing interest. I don't know if LSU sees him as their main guy at PG, or if he is a fall-back for some other top guys.
I still don't know the staff's opinion of David Taylor. He is highly ranked in Europe in his age group, but there is no info coming out about him. He also did not perform too well at the recent Euro U18s. Not bad, just nothing exceptional.

Lewis has taken an unofficial visit to LSU. It would appear that LSU has offered, but that is unconfirmed.
quote:
One day after SNY.tv reported that New York City point guard Shane Rector is leaving St. Raymond’s for South Kent (Conn.), former Christ the King floor general Isaiah Lewis said he is heading to Elizabeth (N.J.) St. Patrick.
That makes two former CHSAA point guards gone in as many days.
“I will be going to St. Patrick’s for my senior year,” the 6-foot-3, 170-pound Lewis told SNY.tv. “I just wanted more competition this year.”
St. Patrick coach Chris Chavannes confirmed that Lewis was registered at the school, which is changing locations within Elizabeth and will be known as The Patrick School.
