What is unbelievable is how fast he is, he ran down one of Ouachita's fastest runners.... caught up with him in a flash.

Sorry...Per ESPN article:

Alabama uses two base schemes on defense. The first is a 4-3 scheme with regular personnel, using four defensive linemen, three linebackers and four defensive backs. The Tide's other base scheme is a 30 package, which they use almost 50 percent of the time. This package features three defensive linemen, three linebackers and five defensive backs.

He's very much able to play linebacker, even after he puts some weight on. Guy has the frame to get bigger and not that much slower.

He's perfect as a 3-4 rush-backer like Ware in Dallas or Calvin Pace with the Jets..but I really think he could be a stellar outside backer in a 4-3 with how fast he is..

after a redshirt year and maybe one more on the bench this guy could be unreal.

I'm comfortable calling him that.

I guess anything can happen in recruiting but I'd be seriously, seriously shocked if he didn't go to LSU.

I hope so. He's an unbelievable talent. The most impressive play I've seen this year was made by him. In an early game, either Airline or Leesville-pretty sure it was Airline, a fumble inside the 10 was picked up by WM. Mingo was in the endzone when the WM defender was at the 20 or so with the ball. Anyway, Mingo ran past EVERYONE on the field, including the WM defender who ran it all the way back. This kid really reminds me of Jevon Kearse.

It was Leesville, and it was bad arse. Cajun Rocks can comment on that play.

He'd be stupid not to go to 'Bama. He doesn't really fit LSU's scheme, and he could probably play immediately at 'Bama as a situational pass rusher.

For these kids, picking the right college can mean millions of dollars. A lot of you all on here don't understand that not everyone from LA is an LSU fan.

Actually...He would be a great speed rusher off the end in a couple of years. Hes got the frame to put on 30-35 pounds.

You do realize that with 35 or so more pounds (very attainable), he becomes a much taller and MUCH faster Rahim Alem with MUCH longer arms, don't you? Don't need to go to bama to do that.

No to call a future recruit stupid if he chooses the school he loves and he wants to play at is just moronic.
If he has the talent he will show it here, as does every blue chip player that has made it to the NFL.
Bama has one good year and all of a sudden they are the Dynasty of the SEC? WTF is wrong with you people?
Theres no guarantee he will make any more of an impact or raise his stock by going to Bama..Thats just your opinion.
To call him stupid is .....Stupid

LSU doesn't like speed rushers. He'll either sit the bench or put on too much bulk and lose his speed.

Plus, what you guys are talking about keeps him on the bench a couple years.

His best future position is 34 OLB.

Have you ever seen him? He is tall and lanky, and would need to put on alot of weight to play SEC ball. He will redshirt IMO.
