Why is he considered a lock for Bama?
Two words, and it will ruffle your feathers: Nick Saban.
Not trying to flame, but which coach would you rather play for Nick Saban (whose recruiting help you guys to two National Championships) or Less Miles, who won a National Title riding Saban's recruits?

You're not worth any more response, douche. You're so ill-informed, it's sickening.

It's ok Luke, this fool proved he knows what he's talking about in another thread when he said this:

If, for the unforseen circumstance that TR decides to decommit from Alabama (HIGHLY unlikely), then Saban has Mingo to fall back on.

If Miles would have gotten on Fluker earlier we could have gotten him. Saban got to him before Miles did and it cost LSU his signature.

did he mean wingo? maybe just a typo?
To answer the OP, I think its b/c Fluker goes to Foley (Saban locked the Mobile area down last year), committed so early, and has been pretty solid (unlike TR).

So, you're ackowledging that Sabin won the West because of Shula's recruits? Interesting.

I think you guys ran blufhaven off
ETA: this is assuming Shula would have been able to recruit all the freshmen that had major impacts, which he probably wouldn't have been able to do

Or Les Miles who has developed more 1st round NFL draft picks in 3 years than any other LSU coach, including Saban? Key word there is developed, not recruited. Get it?

I would think you'd want to play in the class with more talent as you're deciding between 2 coaches with BCS championships.

Maybe, but almost all of your major recruits were Bama boys and Shula was still pretty solid at recruiting Bama boys. You're prolly right about the coaching but the West was so weak that he might have pulled off the 12 wins. But, he didn't.
