Why should lache snitch on AU and cause all that drama? It would all come back to him. His family would have to hire lawyers, settle court fees, Media would be knocking at his door, and all the emotional stress. In that case it was best to just keep your mouth shut and move on.

good point. I guess if what you are saying is true, whats done in the dark will eventually come to light...You can't pay a bunch of players and not leave a trail. So, Oregon is one of those honest programs that's why Lache choose it right?

I have no idea about Oregon, I would assume they are clean. Hell, if you have to cheat with their facilities then everyone would be cheating

I'm not disagreeing that Auburn fans have been wrong (or recruits changed their minds). I'm saying that all fanbase make "We lead" claims but it seems that other fanbase are offended when Auburn does it. I can name you tons of players that we allegedly led on but didn't get. But I can do the same for every fanbase that posts on TD. I'm asking what's the bid deal if Auburn claims they lead for a player? Why get mad if Auburn is claiming they lead for Collins? Claiming to lead doesn't equal LOI. If you can remember that, next time you won't get mad when an Auburn fan comes on here saying that lead for whoever after that player visit the campus.

Dude, are you really that dense? Collins never said AU led. Hill never said AU led for Collins. All he said was that Collins was "interested". AU fans then started claiming they led for Collins. A few days later LSU's scout site had video footage of Collins saying he was firm to LSU, wasnt wavering, and wasnt taking anymore visits yet your hot board puts Collins at 55% to AU. This means he is more likely to sign with AU than not. No one should be mad about the situation. Its just funny how stupid AU fans are as a whole.

Just this question, last year Auburn was coming off of 7-5 or 8-4 / jizzick 5-19---but yet all these stars wanting to come to Auburn why??

Augrad,you've been a good poster(one of the most sensical AU guys by far)and your points are well made and understandable but the reason most LSU fans get upset with the Aubies over Collins is because most of them are so convinced that they have a real shot based on bad info and what Hill said.The hot board is fueling all of this crap.If they seriously don't think you guys lead for Collins then why is he at 55% on the board?That would mean you guys lead.That's where the frustration from LSU fans comes from.It's just mind boggling that most Auburn guys are taking what that board says to be absolute truth when the kid himself has said that he's very solid to LSU.Also the frustration comes from the hypocritical stance most Auburn guys take when discussing guys that are supposed locks to AU.I've seen many times on the rant and other sites that when Bama guys bring up anything positive for them in regards to Erique Florence,the Auburn guys come back with a fury siting all the ways that he's a lock for Auburn.Using the same standard shouldn't that mean that Collins is a LSU lock or that Calloway and Shinn(admittedly he was seriously looking at Auburn for a while) are locks to Bama?Yet Auburn guys still feel that Collins is a legit option for them,that they have a chance to pull Calloway and that the only reason Shinn is now solid to Bama is because Auburn is full at wr.Complete hypocrisy and bs.That pretty much sums up why fans of every school get upset with the Aubies.I won't even mention a lot of the blatant flaming that a lot of Auburn guys do.

Everything I heard was that Lache was the one asking for money. Why do you think Texas and LSU passed on the kid? He wanted to go to Auburn badly but we passed on him for Dyer. Something doesn't seem right witht the kid if he was really a 5 star.
Lots of schools turned his arse down. Hell Memphis was in his top 3.

Ross, take it for what it is worth. At the end of each day you are an Auburn fan. That stigma you take upon yourself. You spend all your time on an LSU board for some strange reason. Too much time on your hand, the wife or husband is fugly, unemployed--I'm not sure. But one thing is for sure, all the new found confidence will wash away you know & we know it too. So before you try to compare smarts, you need to take look at yourself little man. And know this, this is the best it's going to be for you, no better. That sucks for you Ross!!

lol that's not the way it happened. lache's drunk mom went around with her hand out, lsu caught wind of it and backed off and so auburn backed off.
