I tried to search but was unsuccessful. Are there any good studies that tie good recruiting classes and success together? Thanks.

I mentioned this previously, but some reports show that as high as 50% of 5 star recruits never make it to 'impact player' level.
But I would bet that 5 star players in the Southeast, vs. nation wide, have a much higher percentage than this.
It would also be very interesting to see what the percentage was for 5 star players going to LSU. I would be shocked if the percentage for becoming an impact player was not much higher than 50%.
