All recruits do not take money. All world recruits like Patrick Peterson and Cam Newton take money because everyone is recruiting them.

I know. Each recruit is their own person, so you cant say that everyone will reopen their recruitment. Some may if this is true and others will not.
You say some people want to stay away, did it effect USCw last year when they saw their bad situation? (that is an honest question because I am not sure)

Well, if its true, there will be some stiff penalties, Bowl bans, loss of scollies, etc. So, I could see some recruits bailing.

I'm saying blue chip recruits are paid off all the time.
And PP did have some smoke surrounding him when he came to LSU. A insider to Miami, who I might add is pretty damn accurate all the time, made some accusations. He claimed PP was paid off by a Miami LSU booster. He claimed the same guy paid Bowe off to LSU too. PP's parents did move to BR after he came here. Bought a new house from what I understand...
I don't know if it is true but I promise you LSU isn't clean. No major program is. The HC doesn't necessarily have anything to do with it. All on how you control your boosters, which LSU has done a pretty good job of doing. Maybe it was just a bunch of whining Miami fans.

Ask any Miami fan and they will tell you we did without question.Also are saying that the money men are the reason we are in it with Bridgewater.Wouldn't suprise me if it's true(only naive people believe we or any other football or basketball power are clean) but evidently our guys are really good.Even with the investigation last year with Hicks and nothing came up about Peterson.UF reported us and i'm sure the NCAA guys have heard the rumors of Peterson getting paid and still nothing has been looked into real hard.

Apparently the guy in Miami is very rich and is responsible for LSU's recent recruiting success in South Florida. That is the word from the Miami insider. This dude is apparently connected with the Miami program.

Bridgewater is still committed to Miami so for now he is going there. However I say he ends up at LSU. But for a legit reason. Look at all the crap that is going on with Miami football. They really do suck and lose recruits from south florida to schools like UF and FSU all the time.

Duece,i was typing when you posted but you are absolutely correct.Miami fans are relentless to this day when talking about LSU and our payments to Bowe and Peterson.I have challenged everyone of them that i've talked to to show some proof or quit whining.If Peterson's payoff is so well known and is pure fact then someone has to know the details.None of them know anything but rumors.No facts.While probably true,without proof it comes off as sour grapes to me.They need to put their wallets up and quit whining.Evidently they paid more for Arthur Brown than we were offering because we tried to get him.If we are that dirty then we would have paid him enough to get him.

Well my Miami insider, who is always accurate, says your insider is definitely wrong. Anyone can come on here and say "they know someone". Obviously your buddy is wrong if nothing has been found on Bowe and Peterson, who UF has constantly inquired about. If all of these people have spoken up about it, yet nothing has been found, I don't think it would be true

Think about this. When Bowe was being recruited Florida was no where near what they have been. Zook was the coach and Miami was doing terrible. LSU however was fresh off a NC and we had Saban a really good recruiter. Now lets look at when PP7 was getting recruited. LSU was fresh off a NC season while Miami was coming off a dissapointing 5-7 season. Why would PP7 go to a terrible program over a championship contending one?

I am as well.Just makes for interesting convo with Miami guys.They get pissed when you get into the Peterson stuff.They do and will always think we are the dirtiest program in the country.There are arguments on both sides of the Peterson stuff.No proof though.I think it's funny going at with them regarding Peterson.Even with Teddy now they are convinced we are paying him off.Interesting since we are likely getting Mettenberger and i don't think there's anyway Teddy comes here if that happens.

I understand that he can RS and start by his JR year but at Miami he can redshirt and start as a freshman.Big difference.
