Alexander and Elston = Package Deal?

Being from the same high school, are Kwon Alexander and Trae Elston a package deal? Or would they go their separate ways?
And on another note, since Corey Thompson committed last night, do we even have a shot a Elston now?

People seem to think Elston wants to play offense.. but most think he will be best suited as a corner.
I don't know if they are a package deal. Elston just got an offer like a week ago.
So, we may have offered to get both of them. Not sure.

I have heard no mention of a package deal and even if I had I would put little stock in it. Package deals are often talked about, seldom followed through.
Regarding Elston, I don't think we are overly concerned. If he wanted to sign, we would probably take him if we had room.

Hi SR film is pretty impressive and thus that is why he got offered. Most likely a CB.
By all accounts, Elston was offered because of his senior film and *not* because of possibly getting Kwon.

Kwon is in for sure if he wants. Elston is welcomed if we dont take Patterson. If Patterson doesnt come here then you take Elston because you have the room. I dont believe that they are a package deal, mostly because I dont think Elston has a Bama offer and his LSU offer is there based on room.

We'd take him at CB. Thomas is probably moving to S since Sandolph is at academic trouble right now. Elston would take his spot.

They have mentioned they would like to play with each other in the past, but they were ready to go their separate ways until the LSU interest...

I agree, forget the package deal angle.
That never really plays out.
We take them individually on their merits.
I think Elston ends up at Ole Miss and we snag Kwon.

He can play both ways and word has been he might be moving to S to replace Sandolph. We were expected 2 S in this class. It would depend on how he pans out academically I guess. LSU probably feels more comfortable with their CB depth than S right now. Maybe Thompson changed that, who knows.
LSU would have 2 CBs if Thomas moves anyway. Exactly how many left this year. So we still fill the need.

I believe this to be a fact but as a one off scenario i seen it happen last year with Teddy Bridgewater and Eli Roger both to Lousisville.
I also think a package went to Fla state last year as well.

If Elston was coming to LSU he woulda prolly visited last weekend? Instead he stayed home. Kwon seems to have a valid offer from bama now?

Elston did visit. He went to Okie State on friday and saturday and visited LSU on Sunday.

Firstly, I don't really know if it's Kirven and Tomlinson or Kirven or Tomlinson. Kirven keeps fading, then coming back into the picture every day.
But the assumption of no room should be correct in that situation. Kirven is an early announcement, so everything should fall into place afterwards...

Word on the street is that Lil Nicky is asking other to take the GS because he knows Kwon wont take it and he doesnt want him in BR.
