quote:
Workable frame with longer arms. Over 6-foot. Not a stranger to the weight room. A violent defender that is capable of making plays both in the box and and in coverage. Quick to read and react. Fires downhill and gets physical, cutting off run lanes. Puts his shoulder into ball carriers, stopping them in their tracks. Relatively fluid when asked to redirect. Excellent spatial instincts allow him to open hips and stay within striking distance as he runs with tight ends and running backs. Will fight through hands to break up a pass. Flashes a closing burst on tape, but top-end speed a bit of a question mark with lack of verified testing data. Could find a lower center of gravity. Carved out a starting role as a junior at one of the nation’s most talent-rich high school programs. Not only made an impact on defense, but also contributed on special teams as he flew down the field like a missile on kickoffs. Has the looks of a future multi-year starter at strong safety for a College Football Playoff contender. Should develop into an early round NFL Draft pick.

This has to be the top guy on the board if they are looking specifically at a box safety type. I know some think Jacoby will be a weakside LB but I really like him at free/deep 3rd.
