Sure he got paid(like any top recruit), but his dad and uncle played at Nebraska with his uncle being the current Husker O-line coach.
They had that well before he committed to them. For the vast majority of the time he was going to UGA. He even moved to Georgia to play high school ball there. Money won out dude. Plain and simple.

He was going to be ineligible in arizona for most of his senior season. Sure he got paid, all the top recruits are getting paid. To just say money won it, clearly shows you didnt follow his recruitment, Nebraska was always confident they had a real good shot at landing him even when he committed to ohio state.

Per Raiola, the reason for his flip to Nebraska is that blood does run thicker than water.

"I firmly believe that Nebraska is in my blood," Raiola told ESPN. "It's a great opportunity to be part of something bigger than myself. Nebraska is a special place.

"I think it'll mean a lot to bring it back," Raiola said of Nebraska's legacy. "Just because of the legacy of so many great players that have walked through that locker room that's been established there — to keep doing what they established. ... Just the history of the Nebraska football program. It's not just another program."

Raiola was all UGA until they got an agent involved. Family played a small part but money was the main reason he left

I don’t know about anyone else but my interest in cfb is rapidly approaching the indifference level of my nfl fandom. It’s getting harder to tell the two apart

I followed his recruitment. Guy wasn't really thinking about Nebraska til they upped the check. Ask yourself this, why not playing Nebraska? Why not play in any other state? Why go to a high school i
Georgia?

All that legacy shite doesn't matter if money is involved. Wiley is in Georgia, they had a 4k passer and almost had a 2nd 4k passer in back to back years at UGA. LSU had 2 heisman winners at QB, and 4 first round WRs in that span and he was a legacy. FSU hasn’t produced a 1000 yard WR in years, a first round WR in years, and Jordan Travis was on pace for only 3200 yards in back to back years.

It's money man. Money!

His godfather is Matt Stafford. Does that make him a Georgia legacy as well?

So he's a legacy at his top 2 choices....
