I believe sage will be used like Grant delpit.
A moveable chess piece

I'm guessing they will try derrick Davis at free safety some to start off.

I believe DDJ will wear no.7 before his departure for NFL @ LSU. Absolute great athlete, person, family. He will be a fan favorite. Already on top of my list.

Same.
Very down to earth

I'll give it to O for re-upping at the safety position

I am not a guy who thinks we should get rid of the #7 and #18 tradition. I do think that we should be far more selective in awarding those numbers. Or at least wait until after the season starts that way the staff has as much data as possible to award those numbers.

That being said I hope DDJ balls out here and earns that #7 jersey

Yeah I agree we should keep the numbers, but they’ve messed up with them recently. Giles was not even at the level of LSU. Clark and Curry have been rough. Guys like Foster Moreau really embodied the leadership and level of play for #18. Then for #7, we need to restrict it to elite playmakers. Chase was actually a good choice but, oh well. We should not have given it to Jacoby.

I also think a first year starter should never be given one of these numbers before the season even starts. EVER.

Curry has been on Instagram blabbing about he needs more carries lol

Most questionable choice of them all imo

Nice haul at safety with this kid and Khari Gee, Matthew Langlois, and Sage Ryan. These kids along with Jordan Toles should make safety a strength that it hasn't been since Jamal Adams left.
