All of our recruits have done bad in the games they played this HS season,... Oh wait, they haven't done anything to drop

They just have to finish it off. Particularly Leigh, Thomas, Smith, Wiggins and Ryan. Then fill in the rest with an OL or 3, a TE and best available. Those 5 plus at least 1 other OL and I'm happy no matter who the rest are.
LSU could be down to 2 safeties returning next year. That is not a joke and is horrible roster management when 5 and even 6 DB are commonly playing most of the time.
Ideally, I would like to see 2 CB and 4 safeties this year with one of the safeties being a JC transfer. Unfortunately, that is not likely so I will just hope that Harris and Lewis return and that we avoid injuries in the DB room,

Since when are those leeches ever factored in when it comes to winning championships?

Based on what?
People put way too much stock into these services. They service some programs more than others if you know what I mean. It's been obvious for years, yet even LSU fans seem to be in denial about it. I'll never understand it.
Yeah I did a little comparison of our 2017 class with the top classes of 2017. Only Bama comes close to what we've produced from that group and Bama's group was pretty much a tie (UGA 2018) for the highest point total since UFs class in 2010. As far as points go, we were 10 behind 4th place, 14 behind 3rd and way behind first and second.
Either we did WAAAY more with less, or some of these rankings are just biased.

I post this all the time, but some seem to be oblivious of it. The main deliverable of the recruiting services is not an accurate list; it is subscriptions sold. The kids are rated in a way that will maximize subscriptions sold.
Also, the actual evaluations of the kids are not done by the recruiting services. That would cost too much money. They rely on the coaching staffs. This means that they look at who the top teams are pursuing the hardest, and they rank them highest.
So, subscriptions sold - cost to evaluate = PROFIT (roughly)
Rank the kids to get the minuend high; rely on offers to get the subtrahend low; and reap a healthy difference, or profit!

247 and Rivals are the modern day Psychic Friends Network.
Might as well use that currency to wipe your arse.

Not sure if they’re related but Tre graduated from Green Oaks which is the same school Crawford attends. It’s a pretty small community there so at the least they know each other.

They all run by Bama sycophants, and all Bama players get bumps. We were told for years that Bama players get bumps cause they win Championships and deserve those bumps, from the mods themselves. LSU wins and the very next cycle all their recruits get downgraded. It’s a racket, and if you can’t see the bias, then y’all ain’t really watching. Oh well, keep winning Natty’s and rub it in their faces....

And ebbs and flows from one position to the next, from one year to the next, at other programs don’t happen as well?!? Highs and lows occur as to position numbers and strength at every program in the country. Why don’t you give the staff a call to make them aware of their poor roster management?

Rivals had Morris Claiborne as a 3 star receiver coming out of high school in Shreveport. He turned out to be the Jim Thorpe winner and going #6 in the first round in 2012. We'll be okay.
