I know there’s no pen to paper but I believe these 3 commits will sign Will C 4* #5 OT will move up to a 5, Lucas T 4* #8 OG and I really love Bo B is a 3* OT , he loves to work out, very intelligent, weighs 250 but in the next 18 months and once he gets Moffitized will be the hidden gem of the class. If we get EJones on board this will be the kind OL class we’ve been pining for , for years. Give O a break this will be a OL crew we can count on!

Fingers crossed. Hope like hell you're right. It would be a great foundation to a nasty class!

I really like O and have backed him since taking over for Les Miles but most of the criticism is deserved with regards to Oline recruiting.
What I don’t like or what makes it unfair is all the other non justifiable harping on the man. Very similar to the Twitter mob. Many just emotionally jump on board without looking at all the details.
Anyway yes you’re absolutely correct, I think we have some legitimate big uglies here! I think we will soon lock up the Mr. Jones and I’m hoping we get 2 more national OT’s or 2 more that could play either outside or inside.
Once we feel comfortable with what we have then we can get a head start on the 2023 class so this can continue. Like I said before, it needs to be all hands on deck and if we need to put a OL recruiting special forces group together to land the talent we need there for a season or two then that’s what we should do. Whatever it takes!
I think these new additions to the defense will help recruiting on that side tremendously. As well as the new additions on offense. I like the development job and the condition Cregg had our OL at in 2019 and I understand many unfortunate things occurred during 2020 so I’m still holding out hope for him. He’s got to pick it up when Louisiana doesn’t have the instate talent though.
He’s got connections so use that to your advantage. Texas is right there and produces some great talent on the OL. Get your foothold in the Midwest and up north as well. If it’s real bad regionally then you’ll have some options in the Midwest and northern states to land a few known guys and also have contacts to land a big athletic TE or DE that has all the tools but isn’t being recruited by any of the bigger schools for one reason or another.
We will have to do what we have to do until we garner the attention and respect nationally to not only get a commitment from the number 1 OT from PA or WA but have them sign here and not end up in someone else’s (red team’s) class after originally committing to us. I’m confident that O will do what it takes to get LSU to that point!
