Plus, are you aware that he was just recently named the MVP of the Dallas Elite 11 quartback camp???

yea I saw that.

But Kincade came in 1st, ahead of guys like Barnett and Connor Bateman (who came in 5th). I will be very curious on hos Kincade comes out at the national event

I am curious as to how he places in that also and if it will earn him a scholarship.

I hope it does. A class with Kincade and any of the other three (Bateman, Mitch and Barrett) would be a nice class. I don't think a commitment from Kincade would sway other recruits away from LSU either which would be helpful

Would have been a lot nicer to offer him before he started blowing up, but I can understand not offering a kid who is currently only 6' at best when every other prospect was and still is on the board. I have a feeling that when he shows out at the National combine, he will start gaining steam. Hopefully we still remain his dream school

aggie, thats the problem. by the time we offer then everyone else will also and we have a long fight and a losing fight. I don't see 2 of these guys going to the same school (any same school). barrett, bateman, connor, kincaide.

Are we doing a dream wishlist or realistic wishlist? I can dream up an all star team. Realisticly it's still very good.

My realistic "dream" class added to the current commits

QB-Cooper Bateman; Devante Kincaide I don't feel Barrett would join a class with Bateman or he'd be in that spot

RB-Ryan Green Don't think we take one though. Think we'll take a FB though

WR-Massington;Leslie

TE-Smith; Heuerman

OL-Hoefield Who else that we're recruiting on the OL is realistic? I'm stumped

DE-Prevot; Williams; Beckwith

DT-Manning; Gilmore

LB-Melvin Jones; Darian Claiborne

CB-Jefferson

S-Kameron Miles

CB/S-Priest Willis

That equals 27 counting the early commits but I don't see them all coming and it is a wishlist so the amount is irrelevent.

Not sure. I'll look over their list and see who I like on there and post about it. Only know Jamel James who had some stuff on Gino's site but I'm not sure about that. Still feeling Gino and his guys out at the moment. I hope he does a good service for the LSU recruitniks but I'm very cautious with new people in the recruiting insider racket.

Bateman is higher on the board than Mitch is?

Can't say that for sure. I'm not sure if anyone outside of the staff knows the answer at the moment. I would think so but that's pure guesswork. I only guess that because I assume that Bateman would be accepted at this point. It seems for sure that Mitch wouldn't.

I looked at the Arky commits and there are only 2. James who plays RB but according to Gino wants to play S at 5'11 almost 230 and a 6'0 170 wr I don't know a lot about.

diarse just has to have a big sr. senior and do well at all star games. we saw how landry was a 4 star going into his sr. season. diarse does not have the "wow" factor but he is a top 5 instate player for sure. its all about the "wow" factor and measurables with recruiting. the idea that bama wouldn't take diarse but took falkins is a little far fetched but it also feeds to "measurables" idea since falkins is a big wr but no where near the football player as diarse.

Falkins was taken for reasons not purely based on talent. There are legs to the rumors of him maybe being pushed out by Bama.

I agree about Diarse and while my personal feelings about him as a prospect mirror what I posted, the point of the post was to try to explain why his rankings will be so varied. He's not a guy that is going to impress everyone. Landry was the same at 1st but eventually his reciever skills were just too much to overlook. Most of us already knew what it took the recruiting sites a year to pick up on.Can Diarse rise like Landry did? Sure but it will still depend on the site and the scout. Others will still rank him lower. One problem and big difference with Diarse is that scouts will only get to see him at one of his possible college positions in an all star game. Him playing qb isn't going to allow the scouts to guage his S or wr skills. Qb allows him to show his athletic ability and leadership type skills but those aren't going to get him moved up significantly just the same as Landry's didn't move him up. Landry moved up because he was unguardable and caught everything. Again the recruiting rankings are primarily made with the NFL being the end game and it's yet to be seen if Diarse has a skill that will make the experts think he's a legit pro type prospect. Doubt it happens while he's playing QB in high school. He'll have to do really well during the all star practices. I hope he does impress and show well. He's a member of the Tiger family now(unofficial until he signs) and I wish him nothing but success.
