Jesus Christ you're retarded.
None of them are from his junior year. They were all taken from this video which as you can clearly read in the description is from his senior year of high school and freshman year at OU. So I can say, with authority, that they were all from his senior year and you're a fricking moron.
I said his film from his junior year in high school. Which it does. See his junior year in high school I was working in the sports dept. of the local Houston ABC affiliate and that's the first time I saw tape on the guy. If you can actually find some junior tape, look at it. If not, quit thinking you know shite about recruiting or talent evaluating.
Again, maybe your perception was skewed because you weren't able to actually find any junior film on AD, but his junior year he was listed at 6 ft, 195 pounds. This kid is 5'11 and weighs 185-190. Damn what a fricking HUGE difference in size. He's MUCH SMALLER than AD was at his age, right?
Again, if you don't know dick about the subject matter at hand, it's usually best to just not resapond.

All of them. Why don't you tell me which are from his senior year, since you said that they are so authoritatively first?

Except that's not what you said. You said AD's film looks "exactly like this kid." It doesn't and now you're just trying to make an excuse for a stupid statement.

Asinine. This kid is much smaller and looks nothing like AD did.

Thomas is 175 at most.Very thin compared to Peterson.
TrojanAce,i'm not questioning his toughness but compared to AP he's not close as far as running inside translating to the college level. That's not a knock(even though it sounds like one)he's just a different type of player.his ability on defense shows his toughness just not as a runner.I still think he could be a devastating rb especially in the PAC 10 but I like his upside more at db.

So your entire analysis depends upon that film being from AD's senior year, huh? Then why are there clips from games @ Whitehouse and @ Henderson? You were saying...

seems like he might be a safety
so does somebody want to go out on a limb and say who has better info?
Rivals - 5'9 160lbs 4.5
Scout - 5'11 185lbs 4.4
somebody's info is f'ed up

This kid can play alright. I think he should stick to the defensive side of the ball. He is much more physical on defense. He is not a natural 'tackle breaker'. Kind of strange for a kid that tackles as well as he does.

Kennedy is awful.

He's not the only one throwing around praise. I've been hearing about this kid for the last two years.
In a city as jaded as Los Angeles is when it comes to celebrity status, for him to generate the amount of buzz he has makes you take notice.
He is the real deal.
This is a very deep year in So Cal in regards to skill position players (particularly WR) and DL. So-so with LBers and DBs. Again, not too good on OL however.

He's the real deal. I don't see him at a combine from Scout to get those measurements, but checking on his past articles they are all written by the West Coast guys that run Scout - so I am guessing they have some up to date measurements on a kid they are pumping as one of the best in the country. To answer the question Hobo, I don't think he looks 5-9, 160.....
Here is a couple of good photos from the Scout 7-on-7 tourney at USC last summer.

My initial instinct regarding where this guy signs is to think USC lock. Are there any other schools that you think could make a run for him?
Posted on 2/9/10 at 5:19 pm to GABlueDog
I think UCLA has a decent shot but he won't leave the city of L.A.

Crenshaw has been a pipeline to ucla. However, 4* LB and one of Thomas' best friends, Hayes Pullard, LOI'ed to USC on NSD.
If we can get him and a bigger back, we will be set up with RBs for 2011.
Dillon Baxter running the "Baxcat" with him and DJ Morgan gets me hyped.

Can you see any chance of him going cross country to Florida or Miami?
Posted on 2/9/10 at 5:55 pm to GABlueDog
No.
I hate definitives in recruiting, but the chances of him leaving California are very slim.
I think Cal would be more of a threat to the schools in LA than any other programs.

SirRohan,
He's standing about 5'11" and weighing in around 190lbs.
I like Rivals coverage the best, but they can be lax updating measurables and stats. But better than espn, which doesn't update anything.

Yeah I work for Scout so I was just chiming in with what I knew from the guys who do coverage on the West Coast.
I enjoy your posts here. Keep them up.

Well I didn't say anything bad about Scout!
Actually Scott Schrader is one of the best reporters and evaluators surrounding USC football.
He's a definite asset to Scout.

Highly doubt this guy will be #1 on rivals. I like Kenny Hilliard at RB over this guy.

Thomas will be assuredly a Top 10 recruit and in all likelihood a Top 5 recruit.
Hilliard should be in the 35-50 rated player range.
I guess we'll wait and see, but I would take both if I could.
