This year's recruits, and to an extent next year and the year after's recruits already know what they're basing their decisions on. They may not have made up their minds yet, but they already know most of the facts they'll be using.

But there are 13 year olds who know nothing about LSU besides what they saw on TV last Saturday night. Some of them will be recruits in a few years. And when they get a letter from LSU, they'll remember.
