Is I-10 open through LA & MS

Trying to make a trip to Destin and thinking about leaving from Mandeville in a few hours. It looks like after Gulfport things get a little better. Is I-10 underwater in any of this stretch? Worth the trip now?

I'm in Long Beach and haven't heard anything about 10 being closed, just under curfew. It has died down here over the last couple hours, just a light steady rain. You should be able to make it, just be careful.

so what happens if i leave mandeville at 5:30...will i run into curfew problems in mississippi or alabama? what are consequences?

I doubt they do anything. As long as you have a destination you should be ok. They just don't want people cruising around and/or looting.
