Why are there so many gas log options..help!

I have LP gas with a vented fire place insert looking for some gas logs that look good. I think I want a remote control option but I see the light on demand calls for a pilot to be lit all the time.

I went a Real Fyre electric start system that I installed myself.
Wanted the same thing as you did and had bad experiences with the pilot light in the past.
Super happy with the setup. Just be prepared for the sticker shock.
