What are the differences:

Trimec classic broadleaf herbicide
Trimec 992 broadleaf herbicide
Trimec Lawn Weed Killer
Trimec Encore
Trimec southern broadleaf herbicide
Trimec Crabgrass concentrate

As previously noted, I have perennial rye grass planted. Ronk recommend Encore. But you cannot purchase Encore in Louisiana.

Admittedly Ronk, I mixed what little I had left of the lawn weed killer with the crabgrass concentrate. Is this going to kill everything it touches?

The differences could be anything from taking out one herbicide and adding in another to changing the percent of each herbicide. If the crabgrass control had quinchlorac in it then yes, you probably just killed the annual rye.

If you can't get Encore try Rifle by Loveland Products.

Ronk,

I purchased this product but cannot for the life of me figure out the ratio of Rifle to water to place in my sprayer. Math was my worse subject in school. Please help. My lot is 10,500 square feet

I’ll read the label and do the math.

Thanks. I read label multiple times and couldn’t find anything about the water to rifle ratio? And it talked about acres and how much to use.

You are just spot treating the weeds right?

No, I’m actually spraying my entire lawn as weeds are rampant even where the perennial rye has come in

Start with 1/2 ounch per 2 gallons of water. That is the rate for backspraying.
