Best place to purchase some Elliot pecan, bald cypress, fig and peach trees on the north shore. Never had success with the Lowes and Home Deport purchases.

It’s wrong time of year to plant trees.You’ll have much better survival if planted Dec.-Jan.

I agree it's not the best time of year to plant, but certainly better than August. I've planted trees around this time and it takes a lot more effort (and water) to ensure they survive through summer.

There's some old saying that the best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago. The second best time is now.

Sounds good. Have no trouble with waiting till the dormant season.

i bought a drake elm at home depot this winter. Planted it. and now it is doing amazing. it looked horrible when i bought it. so i have had success
