Transplanting small bushes

We have a somewhat inconveniently placed set of bushes in front of our front patio that I'd like to move someplace else. I'll have pics later today, but they look kinda goof where they are and I think would look much nicer elsewhere. Eventually we want to plant some small stuff where the bushes currently are.
How difficult would it be to transplant already established bushes? They stand about 3 feet tall and don't really grow any larger than what they are now.

I have done it. You need to dig a really big area around the bush and under the bush, so you can get the whole root system out, and do not cut any of the roots, or as few as possible.
In the new hole, make it big enough to spread the roots around. Fill with the old soil, some cow manure and add some root growth stimulator granules. Water it every day for at least 2 weeks.
Also, do this in mild weather, not in the heat of the summer.

Not hard. Basically just excavate the root ball carefully so as not to hurt it. Deep and wide (TWSS).

A lot depends on the size and variety. I’ve transplanted a few shrubs and probably had about 30% loss rate.,
Make sure you fertilize them at the new install and dig out more than you should

My neighbors did this and then all 6 transplants died. These were pretty big bushes they were trying to move, I guess they didn't get enough roots or didn't water after transplant.
