I am keeping my St aug at about 4 inches throughout spring and summer this year into hep it recover and it has come back pretty well. I was curious though, do I keep it this height during the fall and winter time or is it worthwhile to cut it shorter before the winter browning begins?

I don’t cut it short unless we are getting a lot of rain and that’s for disease control. Leaving it taller will help with weed control.
