Shop building material

I have been trying to have a shop built and something has postponed it for over 2 years, last guy was going to build me a 30 x 30 x 10 pole barn for 15750 with 4 inch slab and insulated roof. Now with the price of materials almost double, he may not be able to build it for that. Looking for other options, has anyone built a shop using cinder blocks if so share the pro’s and con’s.

Bumping because I’m interested in this also. If it weren’t for lumber prices I’d finally be ready to build my shop right now.
