Sewer Line, Back Flo Valve

This goes in the ground, on your main line to prevent sewer backflow into your house thru the toilets, etc.
I had a situation the other day when pumping out my pool, when the city sewer lines were full from rain. Because the lines were full, there was no where for the pool water to go, so it backed up a little inside the house.
The pool drain system goes to the city sewer line. YES it is to code.
Anybody have one ? Do they actually work ?
There are many types. I want one that is "serviceable" with surface access. My line is down 2 feet, so access is not to bad.
Yes I will have a plumbing Co install it.
INB4 fill in your frickin pool....

Seems like a good idea, but it sounds like it would be more likely to clog than just straight PVC.

I highly doubt they will work to completely stop flow might slow it down but won’t act like a valve closing.
