Make sure you calibrate your sprayer to make sure you're mixture is correct.
You can also mix a post emergent with the Prodiamine to kill any existing winter weeds you have, MSM or Simazine work well. While your at it go ahead and mix some Fipronil in there to take care of the fire ants for the whole year. You would need a surfactant if mixing with the post emergent.

I was planning on putting down some Cleggs Cocktail if 72 hours is was a long enough time between that and Prodiamine. Got a bit more water into the soil today.

That’s not an issue - go ahead and spray your post-emergent.
