Plant recs for full sun landscaping/flowerbed?

Looking for some inspo for my front landscaping this year. My beds are full sun South LA, so would need something that can stand the heat. Thought this thread might be useful to others with similar situation.
Ones I've had success with in prior years - salvia (already coming back strong), vinca, zinnia. Sunpatiens do well for me in spring but get toasted in summer despite frequent watering. Testing out some Verbena this year since they supposedly love heat. Other recommendations appreciated

Landscaper just installed a line of dwarf hibiscus and plumbago along the front of my neighbor's house and it gets full sun all day

Autumn sage (lipstick varitey is awesome)
Dwarf Adagio Grass (4' tall)
Shenandoah switch grass (2.5' tall)
Gulf Muhly grass (2' tall)
Lindheimer Muhly grass (4' tall)
Red Yucca
Trailing lantana (purple)
New Gold lantana (this and trailing lantanna give you LSU colors in the fall)
Purple Coneflower
Orange Coneflower
Berkley Sedge (groundcover)
Dwarf Yaupon Holly (instead of disease prone boxwood)
Loropetalum (many different varieties and sizes)
Zexminia (needs good draining soil)
