Wasn't there a thread with some patio layouts and ideas posted here before? Plus can anyone drop a recommendation for a good contractor that can give a construction cost estimate in the Prairieville area?

Yes.... I'll try the "search" button as well.

Probably get better responses if you add some more details as to what you are doing and what you are looking for. Is this a new home construction? Redoing an existing patio? Building a new patio area onto an existing house? Are you looking for outdoor living space? Outdoor kitchen? Fireplace/fire pit? The devil is in the details, as they say.

Basically looking to have a smaller slab removed and a new one placed that will likely be about 20'-25'W x 15'D. Roof will probably be a gable end and maybe 7/12 pitch (nothing more than 10 or less than 5). I think the most difficult is removing some existing soffit/fascia of the existing patio/back porch to create a transition to the new patio.
