Outdoor patio bugs

This might be a weird one…anyone have a covered outdoor space that just attracts bugs? I have a pest treatment every 3 months. The house is pretty bug free but the covered patio is overrun with moths, mosquitos, beetles, you name it. Anyone have this experience and figure out a way to reduce it at least?

What type of lighting and how often are they on?

Get a forger attachment for a blower and fire hose that shite with Bifen. I also use Suspend in west Texas because black widows love the porches.

I do have an LED floodlight that is on dusk to dawn. This blower attachment is interesting. Is there a one size fits most or what should I look for?

Man I’m dealing with this shite right now and don’t know what to do. For the past week or so I’ve had those big black house flies on my patio and I can’t get rid of them. There’s no food sources for them, no standing water, nothing but my patio is INFESTED with them
Any suggestions?

If you have flies, go on Amazon and order the Red Top Fly Trap. Put one out in an area away from where you are having the problem. It'll take a few days to really start working, but once it does you won't have flies on your patio and there will be thousands in the trap.

Consider turning the lights off when not in use. If they're on all night they will attract insects all night, and it will begin as soon as the lights turn on. Different insects fly at different times of the night. They navigate by the moon (and stars to a lesser extent). Artificial light attracts them and short circuits their navigational systems (for lack of a better word). That's why you often see moths just wildly throwing themselves into doors, walls, windows, etc. They aren't dumb or crazy, they just have no idea where they are in the world.

Any reason this forum is big on using in Bifen over permethrin other than the smell?
