Need help with tree identification

First, kudos to Chicken and co. for adding the H&G board.

Second, need help identifying this tree:

I thought it was a silverbell, but while the leaf shape matches, the flowers don't.

TIA for any help from the TD horticulturists .

Chinese fringe. Great tree. Flowers once a year at this time, lush green majority of the year, keep it well pruned.

Also known as Grancy Greybeard. There are American & Chinese varieties.

I am seeing them used more frequently in landscaping than in the past.
