Long story short, we would like to keep our hybrid mattress for guests since it's easier than sleeping on a couch and more comfortable than an air mattress. Solution would be a murphy bed cabinet where we could move a table and have the bed easily pulled out. Ideally, it would look nice when not in use and possibly with movable shelves that slide out to expose the mattress. I've only seen one such frame for about $3k which seems steep but likely worth it in the future. I've also seen some systems that work as a functional desk and converts to a bed, but not sure the area we would use could be used like that without making the room goofy.

Any suggestions or recommendations on where to look? Mattress would weigh about 120 lbs, has pocket coils and memory foam. Would prefer to store it vertically since j don't think it would look great horizontal. I'd have to get exact measurements to be 100%

We moved from a bigger house to a smaller one. 3 bedrooms and a "media" room. This pic is from when we first moved in. Actually the first day so not furnished yet. But we went with a bed in a box style murphy bed for that room so we could have someone else sleep in there when needed but could also use the room as a media room.

We were seeing 3K for this fold out queen bed as well but found this new one on marketplace from a dealer in Ft Myers. It was new and the pervious years model but heavily discounted.

Now that we have had it for a year, I honestly would have been glad to pay 3K for one. It has been an excellent idea. We have a lot of visitors here and it's basically another bedroom and it's very comfy to sleep on vs a typical pullout.
