Just bought two Mission Olive trees for my backyard in Broussard, La. These trees are beautiful but expensive. Any tips before they are planted? I have a 1-year guarantee from the tree seller but I would rather be successful than rely on a warranty.

Any experiences to share, tips or prayers?

olives are native to the Mediterranean.
Full sun (no joke, no shade allowed), well drained soil, you could even throw in some gravel.

funny enough south LA and Cairo are about the same latitude, just way less rain and humidity
