Mini Split Outdoor Wiring Question

I purchased a 110v mini split unit for my bedroom and had a question on wiring. Normally A/C outdoor units have a 220v disconnect out by the condenser for code. Since this is a 110v unit it states it need its own circuit but only needs 15 amp max dedicated. I can't seem to find a 110v disconnect anywhere so would it be ok to just run the power to a normal 220v disconnect and use one side?

You can swap the breaker, dc one leg use the existing wire That you have only use the hot leg you should be ok But I am not an electrician. An electrician will prob only hit you with 1 hour and will prob do what I just said but they have a license I just have a keyboard

So your installing the disconnect, right? No dc currently installed?
If so, yes, you can use a 220V disconnect and only wire up one leg of it. I wouldn’t use a disconnect wired for 220V and only run the whip to one side, but if you’re 110V from breaker you should be fine.

Yeah I would be adding a disconnect specifically for the new unit. I was going to add a 15 amp breaker in my main panel and run wire/conduit to the new disconnect just to meet code.
