I have got a Meyer lemon in a pot and that little tree produces a whole crop ot lemons every year. Citrus like nitrogen so get something with the first number high er. I typically just buy some 6-6-6 and put some on it every couple of months. I have also found the tree to get anemic, so I got some chelated iron and that fixed it right up. The chelated iron was hard to find, but I think I ordered a can from Lowes website.
Meyer lemon is my favorite tree because it blooms often even when it has a crop of fruit on it.
