I have a pool in the Lafayette area with approximately 900 Sq Ft of kool decking. Over the years it has required cleaning and repainting every 3-4 years

I'm now considering overlaying it and redoing the pool coping. Wondering if anyone has taken on similar project.

Also if anyone has, who did you use?

If you're redoing the decking and coping you are going to have to re-tile the water line and likely re-plaster the pool.

In every reno i have seen, when the coping comes off, so does chunks of water line tile in addition to pieces of the plaster. If you really want to do it, go all in and make the pool like new.

Figured that would be the case. I may replaster, tile and change coping this spring and hold off on the decking as it can be repainted again and will be fine for a couple of more years.

it may really be better doing an all in one.
